What you're looking at

Open claude.ai. Three things on the page matter at the start:

  1. The message box in the middle. You type there and press Enter.
  2. Your past chats in the left sidebar. Above them are New, Projects, Artifacts and Customize, which later lessons cover.
  3. The ghost icon at the top right. It opens an incognito chat, which is not saved to your history.
